Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme won`t start
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme won`t start anymore? Then you can try to fix it at home. Now will depends of some things, so maybe you will need to have a screwdriver that will nicely fit on philips screws.
A. Issue number one
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme is completely dead ? I mean no led`s, nothing blinking and the fan is not working at all issue.
Let`s start a possible repair
1. Remove the latop battery and the power cord from the power outlet
2. Do not touch the laptop for about 5 minutes.
3. Connect the power cord without battery and start your laptop.
Nothing has changed ? Remove the power cord and connect only the battery.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme still won`t boot ? Then a possible fix could be:
Solution: Your charger is broken and need to be replaced. But before bying new one, go to local store and ask to test the laptop first, but REMOVE THE BATTERY while testing Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme new adapter in the store, and if is not working with brand new charger, then follow our guide from bellow.
B. Issue number two
Your Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme have only black screen, but it hear fan and lights are on.
Well, this is the part where you need a screwdriver to remove HDD and RAM Modules.

The HDD (hard disk) is so easy to remove, so you do not need a tutorial :)

First, remove the back cover
Right, now with RAM and HDD removed, start your Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme and if you hear only FAN running and lights are on, then in the most cases, your motherboard is broken and you can`t fix it.
To replace motherboard ? Is a hard task, we suggest to take him to an professional shop.
NOTE! If you have some electronics skills, maybe if you remove motherboard battery to reset bios.....i don`t know.
